Financial Ghostwriting

Looking for a ghostwriter with an in-depth knowledge of personal finance?

I’m available!

I specialize in writing in-depth content about financial topics. Retirement, investing, insurance, estate planning, and financial planning are my areas of expertise, but I’m willing to venture into other areas as well.

Previous ghostwriting gigs include:

  • Website content (articles, blog posts, and special reports)
  • Printed books (self-published and through traditional publishers with brick-and-mortar distribution channels)

Can I provide references? Not really – it wouldn’t be ghostwriting if I outed my clients. However, I encourage you to browse through my site to get a feel for the quality of work you can expect. A few samples include:

Want to learn more? Let me know on the Contact page. We can schedule a short phone call to figure out if we’re a good fit.

All inquiries are confidential. I know you have to take my word for it, but I’m really just interested in earning a few bucks; I don’t want any publicity or credit for the work, and I don’t tell anybody about your inquiry.

How it Works

You’ve got great ideas, but you’re not willing and able to sit down and write content. Maybe you don’t enjoy writing, or you’d rather spend your time on more profitable activities. That’s where I come in. My goal is to create content as if you wrote it yourself. This is truly your content (based on your worldview, your tone of voice, and your goals), but you don’t have to write it.

  1. We’ll start by discussing your project: what do you want to get out of it? Who is your target audience? What would make this a success?
  2. If we decide to move forward, we’ll talk about your needs: what message you want to send, how you want it delivered, and any nuances that are important to you and your readers
  3. If necessary, you can provide additional materials to guide my writing, or we can conduct recorded (with your permission) phone calls where you explain exactly what needs to appear in the final work
  4. I’ll write a draft, checking with you early in the process to ensure that we’re moving in the right direction
  5. You can provide feedback or request edits
  6. You’ll end up with a final product that meets your needs

I write your content as “work made for hire,” which is a fancy way of saying you own the content. After successful payment, you have the copyright, and you can do anything you want with your content. I cannot republish the work elsewhere or sell it to anybody else. You’ll make payment to my LLC, and in the unlikely event of a dispute, you would be able to bring legal action against the LLC.

Who Am I?

If you read my work and you think I know what I’m talking about, then we’re probably a good fit. But I write anonymously, and ghostwriting clients are anonymous, so I can’t offer you much in the way of “social proof.” All I can say is that there’s probably a reason I showed up in your search.

Your payment will be made through PayPal’s secure servers, and you have the buyer protection features of PayPal and your credit card issuer. If I fail to deliver, you can reverse the payment (you don’t need a PayPal account—you can just use a credit card or another method with PayPal as the intermediary). Payments go through my LLC. If you needed to take additional action, you could do so. I don’t expect any problems, but hopefully this addresses any concerns you have.

My goal is to do good work, make a few bucks, and possibly take on a few long-term clients. I’m not really looking for growth or name recognition. The work I do is fully disclosed to the appropriate parties, but life would be more complicated if I offered these services publicly. As a result, I handle the anonymity aspect myself.

If this arrangement is not acceptable to you, I understand, and I assure you that there are other choices available.
